Dating Etiquette for Guys

When you go out on a date, you should look and dress nice. This will show the girl that you care about your appearance but you also care about what they think about you. If you don’t care about what the other person thinks then you probably shouldn’t be going out on a date with them.
Respect your date by showing up on time. Be early, though a few minutes late for the date is alright. Never more than 10 minutes late. Guys should not let girls wait too long. If you will be driving, know your route well enough not to get lost. Check up on traffic so you will know which roads to avoid if there is a jam.
Depending on the person you are taking out you should also remember to open the car doors and all doors for your date.
For example, if the woman you are going out with is a feminist, then let her open the doors and do things for herself or it will bother her. She also will want to pay for her own meal. If you are not going on a date with an independent woman who is a feminist then you should open the doors, be on time when you pick her up, and be prepared to pay for the entire date.
Be flexible if you date wants to change the venue at the last minute. Unless you can find a life and death reason not to, go along with her wishes because it might the place she feels most comfortable at. However, for your own protection, if you cannot afford where she wants to go, tell her and suggest somewhere as nice but cheaper. Don’t take your date somewhere you cannot afford and never find yourself asking your date for money to cover the bill. That would be utterly embarrassing and the girl might not want to go out with you again.
Dating etiquette, also includes not making the other person feel as if they are on an interview. Be sure to create a comfortable atmosphere. Let the conversation flow naturally between the both of you. If there is no chemistry, then there would not be a need to know more about each other. Be honest with her so that if you were to further the relationship, lies will not hinder the growth. Girls hate being lied to, so never lie about anything.
You will learn as you go on dates. I believe that if she really likes you, she will give you another chance to prove yourself on the second date if you didn’t do so well on the first. By then, know where you fumbled and do not make the same mistakes again.
